Overview
Memezr ("we," "our," "the site") is available at www.memezr.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it's used, and your choices.
How this site handles your data
Choosing a template, uploading your own photo, and adding text all happen entirely in your browser — none of that is sent to our servers.
The one exception is the optional "Get link" button. If you choose to create a shareable link, the finished meme image (with your text already added) is uploaded to our server so it can be viewed at that link. Shared images are kept for 7 days, after which they're automatically deleted. If you don't use "Get link," no image ever leaves your device.
We don't require an account, and shared images aren't linked to your name, email, or any other identifying information.
Cookies and advertising
Memezr may display advertising served by Google and its partners. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and adssettings.google.com.
Analytics
We may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — typefaces used on this site are loaded from Google's font service.
- Cloudflare — this site is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare's network.
- Google AdSense — used to display advertising, as described above.
Children's privacy
Memezr is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
